Ludo hits NYC

One of our favorites, French street-artist Ludo is visiting NYC this week and getting his work up all over.
These couple of pics were snapped by Jamie Rojo from Brooklyn Street Art.

Ad Hoc Art Mural Project

Over the weekend we shot over to Queens here in NYC to check out the Ad Hoc Art Welling Court Mural Project. The event was on such a nice cool evening with a block party and friends mixing with art, mural, music and some rum shots with the locals.

We got to see some of our good friends do some amazing work. Veng, JMR, DarkCloud, Royce Bannon, Gaia, Cern, Ron English, M-City, Tristian of TrustCo and many more including our favorite two ladies Luna and Becki of The Street Spot and even the good folks of Brooklyn Street Art were all in attendance.

Below are some images we got on our iPhone (sorry for the crappy images).
Check out additional photos here: Juxtapoz and The Street Spot

Some Art In Israel

Some members of the Abztract Clan were touring around in Israel this past week. On their last day in Tel-Aviv, they came across these jems.
Most are fairly old artwork (the Know Hope dates back to 2008). Still, awesome to see that they are still up and being enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.

Papermonster at Vincent Michael Gallery

Our good pal (and featured artist) PaperMonster will be having his solo show at Vincent Michael Gallery in Philadelphia with an opening reception on July 2nd.

We encourage anyone in Philly to come check this show out the event, titled "PaperMonster ate that little boy".
PaperMonter will be displaying new works at this event (which we are very excited to see).

Additional info:

“PaperMonster Ate That Little That Little Boy” is the latest titled of PaperMonster’s solo exhibition opening July 2nd in Philadelphia, PA at the Vincent Michael Gallery. PaperMonster will show over twenty new works of stencil art collages on canvas full of powerful portraits of women exploring themes of strength, fear, passion, and mystery. Several portraits are woven together with combinations of women and animals; each speaking to the strength, ferocity, and power that women carry within. His collage work within each painting allows the audience to develop their own perception and theories as to who these people are and what they hide. PaperMonster will also be having an artist talk on July 24th from 2-4pm covering his thoughts on stencil art and the art world at large. You can find more on PaperMonster and his solo show over at:http://papermonster.wordpress.com
